London, UK, 27th May 2021
SE Labs is holding its annual security conference on the 27th May, 2021
Email security services protection
This year’s focus is email security and the services that claim to provide protection against email threats. Delegates will discuss the latest threat intelligence about email threats. Attendees, including all of the main email security companies, will also examine past, present and next-generation testing methods.
Together we hope to advance the testing of email security like never before.
SE Labs Security Conference 2021
There aren’t many email security tests published. And there’s a reason for that, because testing needs to be trusted, credible and accurate. Testing cloud services has many challenges. For example, an important issue is that testers need to collaborate with (or trick) security vendors. As a result, it’s hard to run a completely independent, transparent and fair test.
In this conference delegates from the global community of email security specialists will discuss all elements of email security testing, including:
- Advanced targeted attacks
- Business Email Compromise (BEC)
- Technical impersonation and spoofing
- Other social engineering
- Threat statistics and variation
- False positives
- Comparative testing issues
- Service provision
This is the first security conference run by SE Labs. Registration is closed but if you are interested in next year’s event please let us know and we’ll get in touch when we start preparing for the SE Labs Security Conference 2022.
Future themes will include endpoint security, network security appliance testing, cloud-based security and more. Threat intelligence is a hot topic that affects users, security developers and testers of their products. Expect to see focus on threat intelligence in each and every conference that SE Labs runs.
Your involvement in this special community keeps everyone safer. Good testing produces better products, which means safer users.
